The one that really propelled the booty/mash-up scene, that has been bubbling through the undergound for a while, into the mainstream.
Warm Bitch is a clever little mix-up of Missy Elliot with electro, but it was always destined to be second best to We Don't Give A Damn About Our Friends on the flip. The genius re-working of Adina Howard's Freak Like Me with Tubeway Army's Are Friends Electric seems an almost ridiculous concept on paper, but this tune absolutely devastated electroclash dancefloors when it first appeared.
Keeping such a tune, and its then rather anonymous and unknown creator Richard X out of the spotlight was going to be difficult. It wasn't long until Island records realised that this was destined to be big, and it could relaunch the flagging career of their act Sugababes too - and so a legit re-working appeared almost two years later which became a massive hit for the girl group.
