My Dying Machine was the final single lifted from the Berserker album, Gary appeared on Razzmatazz and on German TV to promote it. But the promotion was in vain as the single only got to a depressing No 66 in the UK charts; you got to ask your self why as the packaging was spot on the song was unbelievable also the B - sides were pretty good.

My Dying Machine
Lyrics
My Dying Machine
(Single from 'Berserker' album, 1984)
Why give orders
Why make speeches
No more questions
No more anwers
All that's left is the fear
I can feel they're here
I can feel the cold
I can't fight for long
This machine runs down
If I had a picture
I could say it's all for you
Why give orders
Why make speeches
Give me a reason to stay
This dying machine
I can hear me scream
I've nowhere to run
I've nowhere to hide
I can only wonder
I can only wonder why
Why give orders
Why make speeches
Give me a reason to die
This shape comes apart
Everything breaks down
And me I'm trapped inside
And here inside it ends
There's nothing I can do
There's nothing I can do now
If I had a picture
I could say it's all for you
I can only wonder
I can only wonder why
Here Am I
(B-side, 'My Dying Machine' single, 1984)
I'll say goodbye for now
Oh this love burns away
Did you laugh for long?
I'll let the boys come in
Then call for you
Here am I
Not talking
Here am I
Not sleeping
Here am I
There's no more I can do
Here am I
There's no more I can say to you
I'm so tired of this
Please send in someone else
You play games with me
But did you win?
How do you feel?
