MACHINE MUSIC: THE BEST OF GARY NUMAN for the first time Gary Numan's promos have been released on DVD. In total there are 21 promo videos, plus various classic TV and live clips, which cover his career from 1979 onwards. The most recent promos for 'The Fall' and 'My Machines' (with Battles) complete the collection.
The 2 disc set will be released on the PAL All Regions format and is restricted to 3000 copies ONLY. The BBC, ITV and various record labels have been a fantastic help in making this release as definitive a BEST OF as possible but the licensing and advance costs were simply prohibitive beyond 3000 copies.
However, it was felt important to have the likes of 'Cars' from Saturday Night Live and 'I Die: You Die' from the Kenny Everett TV show on this release and make this something really special.
The DVD will be sold on the forthcoming MACHINE MUSIC UK Tour and any remaining copies via the Official Store at Townsend Records. The MACHINE MUSIC TOUR will be a one-off chance to hear many of the tracks on the DVD live, including the likes of 'Berserker', 'We Are Glass', 'Warriors', 'Call Out The Dogs', along with more recent singles and material from the recent Dead Son Rising
album.
