The first Numan single of 1986 brought with it an even smarter image black suit, winged collar and bow tie. The promo video for this sad slow ballad was shot in black and white and shown on Top Of The Pops, Gary also performed live in the studio of Yorkshire TV's Nightline and undertook a brief radio tour to help promotion. This Is Love done better than the last two releases reaching a high of No 28 in the UK charts.

This Is Love
Lyrics
This Is Love
(Single from 'Strange Charm' album, 1986)
This is love
This is pain disguised as a dream
Memories
Are guaranteed to break your heart
Look at me
I woke up and found me alone
I wonder
If you'll ever think of me
I won't cry
Now you're gone
I won't cry
I should take your picture
From the wall
This is love
What's it for?
It takes everything
