This is the very rare German release of the Wembley 1981 “MICROMUSIC” video. It’s released on the ATLAS Video label from 1983 (I believe). The catalogue number is ATLAS 8129. This is a very rare ORIGINAL release, NOT a copy and not often seen up for sale.
The film itself starts with an Atlas Video stylized logo which uses effects not unlike those used on The Touring Principle ’79 Video this replacing the original Palace Video logo intro. The film is of the complete 2hr show even though the time on the sleeve is given as 45 mins.
This is a translation of the German text on the sleeve :-
Gary Numan in his farewell concert, London, Wembley Arena 1981. A special live experience – not just for rock fans. His songs “Are friends Electric ?” , Cars and his albums “Replicas” and “The Pleasure Principle turned the Londoner Gary Numan into a worldwide superstar. It was above all the setting of his music to neon effects which bought him the reputation of being a No1 live act. Millions of enthusiastic fans are celebrating.
Gary Numan live on video
A visual and acoustic delight on the International music scene.
