Classic Album: Gary Numan’s Telekon

05/9/26

An in-depth look at the final LP in the ‘Machine’ trilogy

It wasn’t in his vocabulary or on a to-do list. He was the least likely pin-up imaginable, and finding himself thrust into the flight path of mainstream success in 1979 saw him with not only a wealth of admirers, there were, too, many detractors and haters.

NASH THE SLASH A4 photography book by PAUL TILL. Limited edition.

26/8/26

Fans who snagged tickets to the World Premiere of Nash The Slash Rises Again (March the 13th) got more than just a cinematic thrill – they were the first to lay hands on Paul Till’s electrifying new photo book, Nash The Slash.

Spanning 156 A4 pages, this collector’s dream dives deep into the creative collision between the late, great Nash and photographer Paul Till – a partnership forged in the mid-70s, long before Nash’s trademark bandages and shadowy mystique took centre stage.

Till was there from the very start, lens in hand, capturing Nash’s evolution from FM frontman to avant-garde icon. His camera immortalised the cover of Bedtime Companion – shot, fittingly, in Nash’s own bedroom – and countless other moments that shaped an underground legend.

Inside, fans will discover rare treasures: unseen flyers, handwritten lyrics, personal postcards, concert tickets, and Paul’s own razor-sharp recollections – a glimpse behind the mask of a man who redefined what it meant to perform.

With only a very limited number of copies available, Nash The Slash is more than a book, it’s a shrine to originality, obsession and pure creative chaos.
