Exile is Gary's 15th. studio album
The album is pretty hard to describe, more electro than his previous work; but with some synth-pop elements, gothic and even coldwaves. The album starts with Dominion Day a pretty dark and catchy sons, with Numan's conventional vocals and some dark-angel-ghost synth sequences.
